Innovative products with compressed air coordinator
Presscon specializes in the design, construction, and maintenance of nitrogen expansion systems, fire prevention systems, and innovative solutions with compressed air and nitrogen. All our products are developed and manufactured in our own facility in Honselersdijk (Westland). In addition, we offer complete systems (such as compressors and buffers) and methods to monitor the safety of your machines.

History
1997
Founding of Presscon
Our roots are deep in horticulture. This is where we started and built an established our name. We are Presscon; Specialists in designing, building, and maintaining innovative solutions with our nitrogen generators at its core.
2005
Founding of FX Prevent
The accumulated expertise in horticulture helped us create the most energy-efficient oxygen reduction system on the market. This as a sustainable and innovative solution for preventing fire. By applying nitrogen, we reduce the oxygen level in a room, making it impossible to start a fire.
2008
Development of HP-PSA technology
The nitrogen generator is at the heart of our systems. It produces nitrogen with PSA (pressure swing adsorption) technology. Building on this technology, we developed a new system that eliminates the disadvantages of the traditional system: HP (High Performance)-PSA. Our new system is environmentally friendly, has a long service life, and consumes 50% less energy!
2009
BRL-K21017/01 guidelines evaluation
Together with FX Prevent, KIWA develops the assessment guideline BRL K-21017 for oxygen reduction systems. This describes the design, installation, delivery and support of oxygen reduction systems and was officially approved by the panel of experts on 21 January 2019.
2017
Nitrogen in the beer brewing process
The Hague beer brewer Kompaan is the first craft brewer to replace a large part of CO2 in the brewing process with nitrogen. Our nitrogen solutions replace the often expensive CO2 in most operations during the brewing process. This delivers the same result, but at a lower cost and with greater convenience.
2018
Commissioning of new buildings
On 1 January 2018, we started using our new business premises. Our new production area offers no less than four times as much surface area as our previous facility. Our office space is increasing by a factor of three. We are literally taking a big step into the future, in which we are looking for new applications for our nitrogen generators.

Oxygen reduction system NEN-EN16750 certified
Stockhabo is a leader in the field of conditioned storage of food products, with a focus on frozen storage. We may commission our first NEN-EN16750 certified LOX system here. This European standard specifies minimum requirements and defines the specifications for the design, installation and maintenance of fixed oxygen reduction systems with low-oxygen air in buildings and industrial production facilities.

After more than 20 years, it is time for renewal. A new corporate identity and logo that fits what drives us: an invisible force and an intrinsic motivation to develop new products and services. Our generators produce nitrogen to expel oxygen. With the goal of protecting large-scale greenhouse heating systems in horticulture. After all, good protection ensures a longer service life and guarantees business continuity for our customer: grower of greenhouse products.

Development of HP-PSA technology

We are constantly developing new techniques from a customer’s request. That makes us owners of several patents. In 2010 the LOX detect (precision oxygen sensor) and in 2020 the PEC controller (control system for controlling multiple compressors).

Together with FX Prevent, KIWA develops the assessment guideline BRL K-21017 for oxygen reduction systems. This describes the design, installation, delivery and support of oxygen reduction systems and was officially approved by the panel of experts on 21 January 2019.

To this day, technology to displace oxygen with nitrogen is our core business. We conceive and build technical setups for a variety of industries. For industries outside horticulture, such as breweries, for example, we develop that from Presscon Solutions. We are curious to know what other markets will benefit from the ability to displace oxygen with nitrogen to prevent undesirable effects such as spoilage, fire and corrosion.
We look beyond our product. If the problem is not within our scope, we think with the customer. How do we fix his problem. What matters to us is the solution. That’s why we are “Partner for Progress.
